Fly to Lima. Arrive at 11:30 PM

Friday, May 22
Lima - Check out the city with Ricky. Meet up with Calvic and Jaime. Head over to meet Lenino at The Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola in La Molina. Bus up to San Mateo to spend the night for Saturday's hike.

Saturday, May 23
Lima - Hiking with Lenino in Teclio Railroad Pass (World's highest). Hike to Mount Meiggs.

Sunday, May 24
Lima - Paragliding in Lima or at Pachacamac if no wind. Check out Pachacamac with Ricky's family. Meet up with Nito in the evening.

Monday, May 25
Lima -

Tuesday, May 26
Cuzco - Fly to Cuzco early AM. Meet up with Jose and Luis. Check out the city. Maybe meet up with Yuri.

Wednesday, May 27
Train to Machu Picchu. Check out Yuri's office in Aguas Calientes.

Thursday, May 28
Return to Lima AM

Fly back home. Leave 1:00 AM

Preparing for Peru!

The trip to Peru is exactly one month out. Man, I can't wait. Through my good friend, Ricky, and via www.couchsurfing.com/ I have met some very cool people in Peru. I'll be there for 10 days. There is no way I'm going to have enough time to do everything I want to do and meet everyone I want to meet. But I'm going to do as much as I can.

Here's what I have planned so far:

• Paragliding with Ricky in Lima. (I met a guy named Michael online who owns this company. www.aeroxtreme.com/ $45 for a flight on the coast of Lima.)



• Meet up with some of Ricky's friends including Calvic, Nito, Julio and Luis. Hopefully check out Calvic's choir, exchange music with Nito and talk to Julio about www.planetnoize.com/. If possible, do a little jamming!



• BBQ with Ricky's family. Meet Angie, Sebastian, Eduardo, mom, dad and brother.



• Hiking with Lenino to Ticlio (highest railway pass in the world).



• Dinner with Cesar in Lima.



• Check out Jaime's studio and get the dinner he owes me. Meet his family and cousin, Huevo.



• Eat at Bembos.



• Fly to Cusco. Stay with Jose in Cusco. Check out his cousin's band and the discotheques.



• Meet up with Yuri at his office at Machu Picchu.



• Train ride and tour to Machu Picchu with Jose, Luis and Jorge.



• Check out Electric Avenue with Ricky.
  
  
• Go to a beach. Camp out if warm enough.
  
  
• Try Cocoa Leaves and Ceviche.



• And, of course, hang out with Ricky!!!
